The beautiful Boulders Beach is one of Cape Town’s most visited beaches and the only place in the world where you get close to African Penguins. These waddling wonderful birds need your attention and if you make a visit to see them you are helping them survive. Every year, over 60 000 visitors flock to Simon’s Town to photograph and watch the famous Boulders Beach penguins.
The rocky headland at Cape Agulhas is the place where two great oceans – the Indian and Atlantic – meet. This spot is also the southernmost point of Africa, where there is a stone plaque that marks this spot – right on the beach.
