Victoria Falls is a spectacular natural wonder located on the Zambezi River between Zimbabwe and Zambia. Kafue National Park is the oldest and largest national park in Zambia. Established by Norman Carr in 1951, the park covers a massive 22,400 km2. Although located just two hours from Livingstone, Kafue remains little-known and largely unexplored with vast tracts of its virgin bush still untouched. The remoteness of this eastern part of Zambia is the greatest draw of Lower Zambezi National Park. The park, founded in 1983, covers an area of 4,092 square kilometers along the northwestern bank of the Zambezi River.
